Combining Web Design with Original Art
To commission a watercolour painting requires good communication with the artist in order to ensure satisfaction with the end product. The images here are examples of previous commissions. If you are interested, please read the short notes below before contacting the watercolour artist.
The things to consider are content and size. For example, if you were to commission a watercolour painting of a beach, what would you like on the beach (people, animals, seagulls) and what sort of sky would you like (sunrise, sunset, clear, stormy)? Also if you have a photograph or picture of the scene that you like, it would be most useful to the artist. Please note that due to 'artistic licence' the final painting may not include all the detail on your photograph. Standard watercolour paper comes in sizes such as 16 x 12 inches, 14 x 10 inches and so on.
Buying your painting is easy. Simply click the Buy Now button under the painting of your choice in order to add to the shopping basket. This will open in a new window. If you wish to buy another painting, click the appropriate Buy Now button and it will also be added to your shopping basket. Once complete, you can pay securely with any of the major cards or debit cards via the shopping basket.
Postage and Packing is included in the price of the painting. All paintings are posted unframed and unmounted. This enables you to choose a mount and frame to suit your surroundings. Your painting will be posted flat in a reinforced parcel and will be posted, or shipped, via 1st Class Royal Mail as soon as practical after payment has been received.
